Just finished watching "The Story & the Engine"...
* It's an enjoyable episode. It's very pretty to look at, I liked the setting and characters and overall feel of the story. I'm just not quite sure what I think about the _plot_.
* I found the episode a little hard to follow in some places. I'd blame it on being sick and even more foggy-headed than usual, but I've seen comments from other people who struggled with it too, so ... I don't know. Will it stand up to serious, logical thinking-about, or is it one of those stories where the plot isn't the point? I kinda don't want to find out.
* I don't much care for gods in my Doctor Who, that's just a personal preference. But I liked this one more than most of the fantasy-leaning episodes. I almost think it might have worked better as a standalone fantasy story than a Doctor Who story, though.
