DW Instant Reaction Post: Wish World
Just finished watching "Wish World" ...
* Wow, that was a wild ride.
* And I think ... I think it was actually _really good_?
* I mean, I was braced for another disappointment, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. (At least, not yet.)
* The Rani is a _little_ bit more Missy than I would have liked, but not enough that it feels totally out of character. So far, I think they're doing a pretty good job with her.
* I'm so glad that all the gods-and-magic stuff that we've been seeing ever since "Wild Blue Yonder" is actually part of a long-term plan with a payoff. I hoped that it might be, but, well, I had my doubts (lol).
* I think RTD may be about to do something I didn't think he _could_ do. I think he's about to pull off an intricate multi-season story arc with a satisfying conclusion. Is it possible???
* But if Poppy turns out to be Susan's mom, I am going to be _so mad_.

EVERYONE IS ADOPTED. (Mind you, unless they bring back Gallifrey again and drop off Poppy there, I don't see how.)
