Dear shopping websites of the world,

Do you understand that when I search for women's sneakers, size 9 1/2 W, gray, that's supposed to be an AND? I want shoes in my size and my width and my color _at the same time_? It does you no good to show me shoes that are available in a gray 7 Regular OR a black 9 1/2 Wide, I'm not going to buy either of those. This _should not be a difficult concept_.

It's not a difficult concept. It's a simple command. The problem is that people have decided to disable those functions from search engines, and it sounds like, from some shopping networks too. As you said, someone looking for a specific item won't buy the 200 "almost" ones splatted across the screen.

I have seen stores and other websites that give a whole menu, usually in a sidebar, that lets you narrow choices by a bunch of options such as size, color, gender, brand, and so on. You might be able to find one; it's worth keeping an eye out.

Yay!

I have that experience searching for references. As the signal: noise ratio gets worse and worse, it takes longer. >_
