c_carol_againI hated to do it, but I had no choice, I gave in and gave my money to the Mouse just to watch Doctor Who.
Totally worth it!
So, Instant Reaction time!!!
* First of all, somewhat less instantly: back when I first watched Good Omens 1, I thought, DT is still a joy and a delight to look at, but he's aged too much to ever be the Tenth Doctor again. If they bring him back for a multi-Doctor special, I guess he'll have to be Handy instead. And as for the rumors that he's going to play the _next_ Doctor, that's ridiculous fan-nonsense, Doctor Who doesn't work that way. But then, he pops up at the end of _The Power of the Doctor_, and there he is, there's _my_ Doctor, like he never left, like the last decade and change has vanished and I'm suddenly a child of, um, 28 again. It's still there, that feeling. I haven't felt like this about Doctor Who in _ages_. I really wasn't expecting it to hit me this hard. I'm sure I'm going to calm down soon and be capable of thinking critically about the episode, but for now, !!!!!

* I'm not the biggest fan of Chibnall, but I am _so grateful_ that he was the one to write Thirteen and not RTD (or Moffat, for that matter). Chibs is so much better at writing gender-stuff and similar sensitive topics. That "male-presenting" line was _so_ clunky. Bless you RTD, you're trying.
